Alternatives to the Two Party Snoorfest

Last night was the time for another extremely boring "debate" put on by the War Party and its candidates, Barack Obama and John McCain. In light of the War Party's exclusion of alternative candidates from the debates, Bob Barr answered questions from YouTube users.

Let them Debate!

While we'd love to see the Commission on Presidential debates include alternatives to the republocrats in the debates, there is a push for a third party debate in New York City. The proposed debate would include Bob Barr, the We Agree candidates, and the War Party's Candidates.

This event is being organized by Trevor Lyman and Break The Matrix, but needs funding to come to fruition.

An Open Letter to Bob Barr

Dear Bob,

I've been watching your fights in Pennsylvania and Texas in earnest lately as you've been battling for ballot access. You well know the struggle third party candidates have gaining access to presidential ballots in all fifty states. You've had to litigate for ballot access in states where you've followed the rules and faced challenges to having your name on the ballot. You've had to litigate some more in states where Republicans and Democrats (hereafter referred to as The War Party) haven't followed the rules, but have been placed on the ballot anyway.

Throughout your campaign you've railed against the two-party system, and called for better access for third party candidates in elections. You've attacked The War Party for changing election laws and debate rules to propagate their duopoly. You've raised these issues, and raised the debate.

That's why I was surprised that you were absent from the Nader, Baldwin, McKinney, Paul press conference this morning.

Liberty Movement Angered by Barr's Absence

Many in the Liberty movement are angered over Bob Barr's absence from the Unity Press Conference this morning, but it may be worse than it initially appeared.

Worse than posts all over Lew Rockwell, Ron Paul Forums and the Daily Paul denouncing Barr for snubbing Dr. Paul this morning.

Worse how?

A Coalition of Third Party Candidates

The Campaign for Liberty has the scoop on a coalition of sorts. Ron Paul issued a statement to the National Press Club yesterday, encouraging voters to reject the two party system.
